Log in or sign up as a seller to post items you would like to sell. Click on the “+ New Listing” button, fill in the form with details about your product, upload pictures (most recent ones and the more the better) and publish your product to begin selling.

Don’t forget to read our terms of service if you have any doubts if your item might not be eligible to be sold on Bazaar.

Log in or sign up as a buyer, search products from Bazaar’s homepage and go directly to the products page by clicking the “Product” button or if you’re looking for services, click on the “Services” tab to go to the services page.

You don’t have to log in or sign up to see products but you’ll need to be a registered and approved user to buy items or acquire services.

*Please make sure you are legally alllowed to offer services in the city and/or state you are located in the United States of America before listing or accepting any service request.

You must be an undergraduate student and have access to the student dorms. If so, you will need to pick up Bazaar Bags at one of the designated locations, place your item, make sure it is no bigger than 10.6 in x 15 in. Then mark the package and drop it off in front of the buyer's dorm door.

The seller is responsible for packaging and delivering the product to the buyer’s dorm. Both buyer and seller will have access to communicate after the payment is done.

Bazaar was created by Duke students for Duke students and college students in North America. It is managed by two Duke students with the vision of creating a tool for students to leverage all of what we have to offer and more!

If the item is delivered 48 hours after purchase and the buyer doesn’t submit a refund request within the next 24 hours, you will be paid through direct deposit through the bank account you signed up with. For services, sellers will be paid after service is complete. We use Stripe to make sure that all payments are encrypted, seamless, and safe.

You will be able to message the buyer/seller just after the payment is done to coordinate details about dropoff or meetup to deliver the product.

Please fill in the Google Forms located in our "Donations" button on our website. Contact us at donations@thebazaarapp.com so we can collect the donations on campus or off-campus. Soon, there will be bins around campus where you can drop off your donations!

Allowed: Physical products of any kind (clothes, appliances, accessories, electronics, etc.), handmade items (like art, etc.), physical educational materials (like textbooks), language lessons, photography services or lessons, tutoring, and more. Not Allowed: Food, Drinks, Weapons & Firearms, Tobacco & Vaping Products, Drugs & Medications, Live Animals or Animal Products, Adult Content & Services, Hazardous Materials, Counterfeit or Stolen Goods, Illegal Activities or Products, etc.

The completion of academic assignments, essays, problem sets, examns, tests, quizes or any other work on behalf of another person is strictly prohibited. Tutoring and educational support are allowed, but all work must be the student’s own.
